Myler Disability - IAM frightening not Shure what to do?

Thank you for taking the time to visit with us today. As we explained, up until last week, Social Security had another attorney listed as your representative. Now that they have finally removed that prior attorney, we are now listed as your representative. At this point, we need to work with you to obtain updated medical records so that your case is ready for the hearing with an administrative law judge. As we discussed today, we will continue to work on this and will keep you posted on what is going on. If you have further questions, please give us a call.

Ohavbeen working with Myler for one yr and my hearing is scheduled for this month. I have keeper in contact and even one week ago was assured that everything" looked good" not to worry?

Now two weeks before my hearing IAM finding out that there are different departments and IAM in the final phase, however that they don't have enough info for judge and are going to postponed and this could take up to six more mouth s. Who have I been taking to alll this time? Should I find different lawyer? Is there time?

I put my trust and was even told not to worry that everything look good.

NOW I don't know what to do. Now IAM more worried about this than ever just received evection notice.

We are interested in discussing with you your concerns and complaint. However, you have not provided your name or valid contact information and we are therefore unable to confirm if you've ever been a client of ours. If you are concerned about any fee Social Security may have awarded us, please give us a call so we can discuss this with you. Every penny we receive must first be approved by Social Security, so there isn't any way for us to take an unauthorized fee. We look forward to hearing from you.

I was told there was NO FEE unless we were awarded back payments (it was a percentage of back payments up to a certain amount) They did not get us back payments and are still looking for a fee. This is very unprofessional. I confirmed with multiple reps about their fees before we started.

Myler Disability's reply to:

Myler Disability - They are not what they say they are , nor do what the say they will do.

We are aware of the difficulties this client is experiencing and the stress she is under. Her hearing was yesterday and she recently experienced the death of a close family member so was unable to appear at her hearing in person. Fortunately, the judge allowed her to appear by phone and things were able to proceed like normal. All of her medical records were submitted, as her attorney has explained to her in great detail. Now we are waiting on the judge to issue a decision, which usually takes several months. We will continue to keep this client informed on the status of her case and would encourage her to call us with any questions.

Hopefully you will not be drawn to them. Too many case managers telling you different things, and not following through what they said they would do.

I think they mean well, but then again I don't think they do. I would highly recommend not to get them. Like I said, they don't follow through what they say they will do. I had at least 3 case managers, and the last one said he would get my last doctor reports.

I happened to call today because my case is in 2 days, and they didn't have them because that case manager quit. They did not notify me that I needed more, I called them because I wanted to make sure my case was ready for the hearing.

I left two messages to my lawyer to call me back; she didn't until Myler Disability notified her. I think they are sketchy.

I deal with anxiety and depression. Mylar filed for me, however I need up doing all the footwork.

Getting paperwork in by deadlines that mylar would have missed. However without their initial push I would have been too overwhelmed to start. So that being said do they deserve 1/4 of my back.. No.

Maybe 10 percent.

But hey.. Things are still going.

Myler Disability - Dropped

After reviewing this claim, we determined that we were unable to file an appeal to the Appeals Council because the medical evidence didn't seem to match the degree of limitation being alleged. Of course our desire is to help as many clients as possible win their case, as that's the only way we get paid. There is no financial incentive to lead somebody along and then dump their claim when there's still a way of being able to win them benefits. Here, the judge didn't believe the client and we didn't feel that the medical records were supportive enough to continue making this fight. If the client has further questions, he can call us at 1-800-652-9626.

I went for my hearing in front of judge, and later on got letter indicating I was denied, according to Judge I am able to find a job that will allow me to stand and sit as needed and NOT work around anyone ( I have 2 bad knees but to young for knee replacements, also a bad spine but no surgery would ever fix it, Bipolar, schizophrenic, PTSD from abuse and mood disorder) and after I got this letter I got a call from Myler saying They were dropping me as a client as there was nothing else they could do but I could file an appeal.. I was like wow really, your there to help people but you will only help them to get in front of judge then drop them..

AWFUL way of working.. but then again welcome to the corrupted society of America..

been in the appeal process for 2 years now..its been 3 1/2 years since I first applied.. but yet people get approved every day for minor *** stuff such as being LAZY!!!

We're glad we were able to help this person obtain disability benefits. It's unfortunate that he's unhappy with the results, after the time we put into helping him and making sure he got the maximum benefits available. We do expect our clients to take a pro-active role in helping prepare their cases, but here we did have to pay an invoice to the client's doctor to obtain his medical records. We helped the client with this expense due to the financial hardship he was under at the time and later asked that he repay us. If he'd like to discuss this further, he's welcome to call us. We're very flexible in coming up with payment plans that work, as we understand the difficulty our clients are facing. In regards to his dislike of our staff asking him to provide information, there's not much we can do about this. We need regular updates from our client and the only way to find out this information is to ask. No need to get upset when we're just trying to keep your case up to date! Finally, I'm surprised that this client suggests at the end of his review that his case was only approved because of some shady, back-room deal the judge and attorney worked out. In our experience, this isn't how things work. Our belief is that benefits were approved here because the judge was convinced the client would be unable to sustain work on a full-time basis. The attorney that handled this is one of our best and always does a very professional job when in court.

I'd look for a different disability firm to handle your cases. They did win my case, took over a year.

Did most of the leg work myself with med recs and so fourth but still billed me 250 for the same *** I sent in to them. Ain't paid it yet cause I havent got any back pay yet but they were paid their 6000.oo for doing little to nothing. Never kept the same case worker. Constently had to go over the same *** with each new one.

Would not recommend mylar to anyone.

The lawyer Cody did put effort into helping win it. Friends with the judge cause the way it went at the hearing had favors written on the walls so to speak.

I left a message to inform my case manager of a new medication and they had my doctors info incorrect. When i tried to give her the address she would not take it the way i gavevit to her because she said she could not put it into her computer that way. I tried to give her the phone number so she could see for herself what the address is and she told me that was my job. I tried to lodge a complaint and keep getting the run around and being directed back to the same person that im trying to lodge the complaint about. I was not obscene or confontational, but i was adament to try to speak with a person higher up and itsvas if tbey dont exist. I asked to leave a message for Brad Myler and i was told there was no way to do that. In my opinion, these people seem shady and i am very nervous about having them handle my case. If they are worklng for people who are filing for disability it is because tbese people are disabled and maybe they are unable to gather all the info themseves. Thats why they hired Myler disability. If its my job to fix the incorrect info that they have and i have no idea how they came up with that info, what exactly are they doind?

Myler Disability - DORIS

It was difficult at times to maintain contact with this client and also difficult to help her understand what was happening with her claim. Her file was being handled by an out-of-state judge and the hearing was to be conducted via video. (We usually discourage our clients from opting for a video hearing because it seems most of the judges don't pay close attention during video hearings; here, however, the client had requested it). Because of the client's confusion, and because she had not been returning our phone calls, she called the wrong Social Security office prior to her hearing and became upset when they told her that the case was being handled by a judge in an office out-of-state. This lead to her hearing being postponed and rescheduled. Fortunately, this was something we were able to sort out and her hearing was eventually held.

We're sorry if this was your experience. When potential clients call in and ask for help or advice, we try hard to do what we can for them. Less than 1 in 5 of the people who contact us are eligible to become our clients and we try hard to point the rest in the direction they can go for help. If we called you an hour before the time you wanted to speak with us, we apologize. I truly believe this company is too big for it's britches. I sent a request for information and was immediately called and shoved into making an appointment for the next day about 3 p.m.

They called an hour early - twice - and left messages and then proceeded to blast my email and text message. When I sent a text back saying I wasn't available an hour early so didn't answer they ignored and instead repeated the same spam blast at 9 a.m. the following morning.

I called and asked to be removed from their list and received a curt scripted answer. When I asked "do you care why?" He said, "we just comply with your request." I don't know about you, but I prefer to receive help from a human not a huge automated machine with no compassion or consideration.

We're glad that your claim was approved! Please be aware that the fee which Myler Disability charges has been approved by Social Security. It is for 25% of the past due benefits, with a maximum of $6,000 (this maximum amount is established by Congress and every decade or so gets raised a little bit). On your claim, we were paid $133.99. While we're sure you would have liked to get more money from Social Security in past-due benefits, you were paid the maximum they were allowed to give you. And, despite what you may think, we were only paid a very small fee for the services we rendered. If you have more questions regarding your claim and the back pay you feel you should have gotten, you may contact us at 1-800-652-9626.

Hi I won my case with myler but after waiting four months started getting paid disability said I had a four thousand dollar back pay coming but I received less than $500. I was kinda pissed.

My brother Jerry also won his case in only 5-6 months and Was supposed to get a 6 thousand dollar back and only received 4000. 10% my ***. 10% of the back pay was all they were suppose to take.

If they wanna contact me my name is Patricia Nelson. Look me up.

If your household assets and income are too high, we can't help you with an SSI claim. We aren't trying to be rude, but rather are just attempting to explain to you what the law in on SSI claims. As far as calling you multiple times, chances are the calls were from another disability company. Many clients enter their info on multiple websites. We can't control who else calls you. We can assure you, though, once we have talked to you and determine we can't help you with a claim, we'll never call you again.

These people are very unsympathetic. I can't work due to epilepsy and they tell me my bf makes too much before taxes.

Felt like I was talking to Social security. They don't want to help you. Obviously they don't want to get paid either. Don't even know why they have a phone number. After denying me and being rude I got two more call backs from two different people.

They're too lazy to let each other know who they already talked to, and are not helpful what so ever.

Very cold and rude during consultation. If they call me one more time I'm gonna lose my *** and go off on the phone.
