Without Myler Disability I would probably be living on the streets

I had Myler Disability handle my social security case. They did a wonderful job for me. Dealing with the social security administration is extremely difficult. After being denied the first time I would have most likely given up. But Myler and the associates would not. We appealed the first decision and the judge was able to see the results of my MRI and found me to be 100% disabled because of my condition. Without Myler Disability I would probably be living on the streets. I highly recommend Myler Disability to anyone needing to face the social security administration. Please do not try it alone. Thank you Myler Disability for everything. I can now live my life in dignity and peace of mind. Thanks again. Richard G.

We have spoken with this client since she posted this review. It appears she's anxious to start receiving her disability benefits. Her case was just recently approved and Social Security needs a little bit of time to process the claim. While we understand that our clients want their money as soon as possible, we have to allow Social Security time to do their job. Here, the client's approval notice was received on June 5th and we are waiting for Social Security begin making payments. As only 2 weeks had passed when the client wrote this review, she needs to hold tight and be patient. Payments will begin soon.

I have been waiting 7 days for a return phone call from them. Horrible.

We've had the opportunity to discuss this review with this former client and we're saddened to see her so upset and frustrated. While we would like to help all of our clients obtain disability benefits, the reality is that not everyone will win their disability claim. Because we only get paid a fee if a case is approved, we work diligently to find a way for our clients to be successful. We don't get paid if the case is denied, so our motivation is obviously to try and help out client succeed.

Here, this client was able to work with three of our attorneys and several of our staff. Each of the attorneys was extremely familiar with her case and the medical records her file contained. While her first hearing was postponed, it was because the judge hadn't provided the psychological expert scheduled to testify a complete copy of the psychological records. When her rescheduled hearing finally occurred, all of her medical records were a part of her exhibit file and available to both the judge and the psychological expert.

Ultimately this case was denied for reasons that cannot be discussed in an online forum. We understand that this client is upset because of being denied, but it was not due to missing medical records or our office not zealously representing her. We also understand her frustration regarding her eligibility for SSI. Originally she was denied for excess household assets and resources. Some time over the last year her financial situation has changed and we would encourage her to start a new SSI application at this time. If she has further concerns regarding this, she is welcome to give our office a call.

Do what they were supposed to do in the first place and take care of my SSI application

Myler was a HUGE disappointment to me for several reasons. I was never given an opportunity to meet with my lawyer until the DAY OF my hearing.

He didn't really know what was in my file, as he had skimmed through it just that morning. Some of my records were missing, even though I had informed them of dr. appointments. Some of these records were crucial to my case, and the hearing had to be postponed (6 months!!) The person who was working on my case (NOT an attorney) was continuously changed so no one ever got to know MY case.

In October, at my original hearing it was determined that my application would also include an application for SSI. I don't believe that was ever done. I've been in the dark most of the process, and unable to get answers. My case was ultimately denied.

My doctors information was disregarded as part of the case. At this point I am trying to find out if an SSI application was done, as they told me it would be, and now they won't even talk to me so I can find out what the history of this application is!! So frustrating. They said they would do things that they didn't, but were continually requesting duplicate records from doctors at $30 dollars each.

I now owe them over $300 for those records (that were disregarded at the trial), I'm on the phone with Social Security now. They report that the SSI application was not done as part of the disability claim, so all that time is water under the bridge. Myler will not talk with me, even though they have records that would indicate that an SSI application was supposed to be part of my disability hearing. It was even discussed at the hearing, so why no application?

Who knows. I can only attribute it to them being so busy with other things that it wasn't attended to. My advice to you if you want to hire an attorney for your disability case?

We received a lead from this individual on May 29, 2017, asking for information on help with a disability claim with Social Security. Our office attempted to call him one time that day and then sent one text message. No other attempts to reach him were ever made. When we became aware of this review on May 30, 2017, I personally called this gentleman and made sure he won't be contacted any more by our office. The other calls and text messages he has received have not been from Myler Disability. While we have no way to stop other companies from calling him, we will make sure his number is never called or texted again by our office. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

I had the opportunity to talk to this client shortly after she submitted this review. We are very sympathetic to the difficult life situations she is facing, but unfortunately the majority of her problems are well beyond the scope of what a disability application can address. From what we can tell, she is particularly upset that she doesn't have transportation to get to an upcoming doctors appointment. She has expressed this concern to my staff in the past and we have tried helping her identify other means of transportation. Regrettably, she is uninterested in any such discussions. We sincerely wish this person the best and hope that she can get the help she needs.

To be honest, it has been a year and a half-hour years since I have been with MYLER. I am strong you considering going with another law firm.

MYLER has done nothing that I haven't already done myself. Calls aren't returned or if they are, they go to the wrong number despite me leaving my current number in the phone message. Extremely disappointed. Received a call a few days ago from my new caseworker, in training who couldn't answer any questions.

She just kept apologizing and saying she was in training. Tells me she is sending paperwork to be signed so MYLER can get paid if I win my case.

I told her I signed them two years ago, she tells me they lost them. Perfect opportunity to move on to another law firm!

I was contacted by hailey from myler disability and she said they would take my case. Sent me paperwork to fill out.

Never had anymore contact with her again i was contacted by several members of the disability law firm including Jessica who talked with me on the phone about my Adhd evaluation and about my foot deformity. But i have not heard from anyone else since January. So im pissed and i want to sue them for impostors, because they have cost me my disability case. This should be against the law.

And im going to contact the disability administration because they called me and said they had recieved my paperwork from myler disability. Mind you Mr. Terry Knight never told me that they were not disability lawyers.

This is fraud at the highest level. Pissed.

We understand how frustrating it can be waiting for a disability claim to be processed by Social Security. Wait times are extremely long, especially when waiting for a hearing. Unfortunately this is being made worse by the current backlog SSA is facing and the hiring freeze that the Agency has in place. Called the office to get understanding on how I can assist my father in law and the first response from a femal associate was "well what do you want me to do about it" in a sarcastic tone. Not thrilled about why my father in law chose this firm.
