Myler Disability's reply to:

Myler Disability - Case Cancellation Review

We'd encourage this person to give us a call so that we can discuss her concerns in detail. This is an anonymous review, so its authenticity cannot be verified. It appears, though, that we were able to help get this person approved for SSI benefits. It's likely she didn't qualify for SSDI benefits because she had not worked enough in the past to be “insured” for that type of claim. (Again, because it's an anonymous review, we can't verify any of the details). Also, if she wasn't given anything in past-due benefits due to her husband's income, Myler Disability wasn't paid, either. There's a good chance that there's another side to this story that includes a client not disclosing all of the necessary financial information to our office or to Social Security. We'd love to discuss this further and find out what can be done. Give us a call at 1-800-652-9626.

Myler Disability - Legal Service Review from Pahrump, Nevada

We continue to review client's cases after coming on as representatives to make sure the medical records match the allegations being made. When they do not, we attempt to work with the client on getting updated records. If these updated records aren't supportive, we usually will withdraw our representation. Here, this is what happened. If the client would like to talk more about why we withdrew and what he needs to do to help develop his case better, he can call us at 1-800-652-9626.

Hi, I am a 30 yr old male with "jme" epilepsy. I have had it for 10+ yrs and have seizures on a regular basis.

Myler was "representing" me for at least a couple yrs. then I get a letter saying they are dropping representation of me for what reason, I have no idea.

I can't work, can't drive, and continue to get worse. How is it even legal for them to drop me???

I got an email from this Myler company stating:

"..someone you know has contacted us about your disability claim.."

Uhh.. I don't have a claim. With any department, for any reason. No claim.

So they want to represent me, because "someone"asked in my stead, for a non-existent claim. Who spoke for me? I'm not married, I don't have kids, I live alone... my cat maybe?

How did they get my info from an injury (the only one in my 31 yrs working-history) that occurred in 2001??

These guys are a scam. Don't give them your time, your info or your money.

Myler Disability did nothing!!

There are 2 sides to every story and we'd love the opportunity to talk with this person to address his/her concerns and see if there's anything we can do to help clarify all of her misconceptions. While we are unable to verify if this is an actual client (the review was anonymous), we're absolutely certain that nearly everything in this review is incorrect. We would encourage this person to call us, however, so that we can go through everything and see if anything was done improperly. The accusation that we sent a threatening letter or that we'd steal half of the fee from the new attorney is absolutely false. Please call us so that we can address these concerns in their entirety. We can be reached at 1-800-652-9626.

Pissed in NYC less than a minute ago New York City, New York

BEWARE of Myler Disabiliy! I have tried to get SSD/SSI twice. I was turned down the first time and turned to Myler disability the second time. They asked me to send any medical records that I had and they wanted a list of all my doctors. I sent what I had and they claim they didn't get all of it..sent it again. Had to go to my local Social security office to file for SSI on my own, as they did not file for SSI!! Spent two 8 hour days there!! The SS person who helped me with my SSI application said "if your lawyer wants to be part of your SSI claim, tell them to send in their forms" Kept getting copies of letters sent to Myler from SSA determination saying that "if they don't send in anymore of my medical records, that my file will be closed. Had to call them to send in their forms that SSA had requested. My case went fast. Had to get a physical from SSA's hired doctors since they did not have enough of my records to go by...Found out that my decision was unfavorable because SSA had to determine from THEIR PHYSICAL ONLY..if I was disabled. I have years and years of Medical Records and only a handful were obtained for my case. I have changed lawyers for the appeal,as Myler did nothing! They are now threatening me , and telling me I will be owing them money and that my new lawyer will have to give them half the money if they win my appeal...I can go on and on...In a nutshell, They got no medical records , they never answered their phones, never answered my emails, Always said they never received my faxes, never sent the proper legal forms to file for the case until I reminded them. They are now Threatening me that I will owe them money and that my new lawyer will have to pay them half of their earnings if they win. I need a letter that Myler has withdrawn from my case and I am sure I will be fighting to get that.....MYLER SUCKS..they have set me back two years............Please stay away from them! They are a nightmare. Show less

You people have no idea what you are talking about...Myler is simply an office that helps with disability...they are NOT magicians! I have seen doctors regularly for my condition for years and with the help of Myler was eventually awarded my benefits.

The ss system is simple...if you dont see doctors and have proof, it doesnt matter how disabled you are....this has NOTHING to do with Myler's ability as a company.

I think most of these complaints are towards the government not towards an office who is trying to help you deal with the government. Although, it took over a year to be approved, and I was often frustrated, I am very grateful for the work this company did for me!

Myler Disability - Hearing Review from Doylestown, Pennsylvania

We just became aware of this obscure website and some of these reviews. We would encourage any of our clients to call and discuss with us any concerns they have about their disability claim. Here, if our client wasn't called well in advance of her hearing by our attorney, we apologize. We care deeply about our clients' experiences and want to help them feel at ease. In regards to the judge making an incorrect finding regarding her I.C., we share your frustration. We often have to appeal cases when a judge improperly applies the law. Give us a call so we can discuss this further and find out what can be done.

Lawyer was suppose to contact me few days before hearing. He didn't I had to contact him.

He called the night before hearing and wanted me there early. I got to the courthouse early and he talked with me 5 minutes before the hearing. He had not even researched what interstitial cystitis was. My denial letter did not even contain the ruling in IC.

SSR 02-2p. In my denial letter the judge thought it was a renal disease.

IC is a bladder disease. I've called the lawyer and still no answer back.

I delt with these people for two years and they did absolutely nothing for my case. They make you believe that you are in good hands, well think again.

You call them and leave messages and they don't return your calls. I did more work for these people then they have done for me. I sent them all my medical records, all the forms they needed for me and my doctor to fill out yet when my hearing comes right around the corner they tell me to withdraw from it. Then I get a letter in the mail saying they are totally going to withdraw their lawyer from my case.

What kind of zoo are they running.

I wouldn't recommend my dog with these people if it was disabled! :(

Myler Disability - Poor Outcome Review from Downey, California

We are unable to verify if this review is from a former client, as it was posted anonymously. If we did withdraw from this claim, it was because we became aware of evidence that contradicted the allegations the client was making. While this person may very likely feel that he/she should get disability benefits, if his/her doctors are not supportive and if he/she has not been getting regular treatment, there's not much we can do to help. We don't think this is “ghetto representation,” but rather honest, candid legal advice. While you're under no obligation to follow the advice we offer, please don't be upset if we determine that your claim no longer has merit because of the evidence you had been trying to hide from us. If you have questions, give us a call at 1-800-652-9626.

It's been 2 yrs since myler has taken my case. All the while I was led to believe they were dedicated and that we would have a successful outcome.

My caseworker David ext 504 LIED when he said he filed an extention therefore when the review team met they withdrew from my case which led Mr David into his next LIE of how he was stunned and unsure why they withdrew.

Eventually his supervisor accepted one of the many attempted calls and together we discovered that MYLER SUCKS!!!! VERY DISGUSTED WITH THEIR GHETTO REPRESENTATION!!!
