Myler disability needs to close down

In all types of litigation, there will always be a winner and a loser. The winners usually walk away happy and the losers usually walk away very upset. It's no different with disability cases. However, here at Myler Disability we have been helping disabled clients receive benefits from Social Security for many years. We're very good at what we do and have tens of thousands of clients who are better off today because of the service we offered them. If you're upset or frustrated with how your case is going, please give us a call at 1-800-652-9626. We'd love to help you out!

Myler Disability - AMAZED AT MYLER ***

We just became aware of this obscure website and the reviews that are here. We want to take time to address each and every review, but we also encourage our clients to call us to discuss their concerns or complaints. We're happy to listen and try helping our clients in any way that we can. The reality is that most of these people are frustrated because of how long the Social Security disability process takes and it's easier to aim their frustration at us than somewhere else. We understand and still want to help. Please be aware that the long waiting times people are experiencing has nothing to do with Myler Disability, but rather with the backlog Social Security is facing. While there are a number of people who have written complaints on this obscure website, they only represent about 0.0002% of our clients. The truth is that we've successfully represented many tens of thousands of clients over the years and nearly all of them have been very happy and satisfied with the services we offer. If the author of this anonymous review has problems with how we handled his/her claim (which, per the info provided, was approved), we would encourage him/her to give us a call. Name calling on obscure websites that we're unaware of will do nothing to resolve your concerns. Give us a chance to help you out. Call us at 1-800-652-9626.

First off it takes 3 years to get disability anyone will tell you, you are ALWAYS turned down at your first hearing. you have to have all medical/mental medical documentation along with all specialists as well as vocational rehabilitation report from SSA to get it.

They do not just take someones word and never will get it without an attorney, they do not take anymore than any other attorney.

They did not fail you at the first hearing, social security again ALWAYS denies your first initial court hearing, ask any of your doctors. :(

You have to have doctors, specialist, mental health, MRI'S, orthopedic surgeons that is what is required by SSA and yes you have to complete papers, sometimes duplicates, because that is what the SS judge wants, Myler disabilty has done a great job, I e-mail them with Names, addresses, phone and fax numbers they have attained everything for me and I have the same attorney from my first hearing on my second hearing. :( :(

Amazed at Myler Jackasses........I want to make sure I understand your complaint. I am very confused.

Basically what your saying is that you paid into SSI with your "hard earned money", filed a claim ( hiring Myler to represent you) and were denied 3 years later because "they failed in the initial court case?"

W H A T?

First of all, take some accountability! Why would YOU continue on for 3 years if the company "failed the initial court case?" Seems to me like that would be a perfect time to part ways.

Secondly, your upset because after 3 years and apparently 1 court appearance a company YOU hired wants to be paid? Yeah, that sounds totally unreasonable to me.

All sarcasm aside, I know most of these complaints are fueled by people feeling desperate and frustrated. When social security denies a claim, it feels like all hope is lost. The truth of the matter is social security is not a means to an end and it certainly is not a fair, fast or just system.

When it does "pay off" it doesn't pay much. The best option, as always, is to work.

I have told them four times already in no uncertain terms I will not communicate in any other way other than email (mainly due to the numerous complaints I have heard) and they refuse. I am firing them.

They say they have an urgent matter to discuss. If it is so urgent why can they not email me? I will not talk to them on the phone again. This place really leaves a lot to be desired.

I have spent a lot of time and they have not helped me fill out paperwork or contact SSA for me or anything.

They want me to do everything. So what should I need them for if they won't help???

We're sad to see this person so upset with our office. We'd be happy to address his/her concerns and would encourage him/her to give us a call at 1-800-652-9626. We'd like to hear more detail in regards to what we may have done that “screwed this up.” It's quite likely that there's a misunderstanding in regards to what you're required to provide to Social Security, even if you do have an attorney. Also, we find it very unlikely that you can't get ahold of your case worker. We answer most calls as they come in and if you have to leave a message, we call back as soon as we can, always within 1 business day. Please give us a call.

I hired this company to help me file for SSI; not only was I denied while using this group, but I had to do all the paperwork myself. I had to deal with social security with no coaching or advice.

I was left hanging. When I attempted to speak with a human instead of a voice mail I was on hold forever and they had to route me through three different people before I was able to speak with someone. All in all, this has been a very difficult and negative experience.

I'm currently trying to find someone local that can fix this group's mess so I can get back on track. They really screwed this up.

How can you be denied twice, the first time you have a lawyer and the second time you have the same lawyer. Your fee agreement tells you what you will be paying for.

The first time it went to court it was $6,0000. two years later it is $8,000.00 it is 25% of back pay. You need to go to SS on line and figure your benefit. It will give you your total back pay amount and your monthly amount.

You just need to research whats available. :cry

Boy they couldn't wait to chase my ambulance when I got turned down for disability the first time. I wasted a year dealing with these people, and when I finally got my hearing I got stuck with a lame lawyer who did nothing but hurt my case in front of a witch-hunting judge that totally ripped my case apart.

They actually had the nerve to send me a bill for around fifty bucks for paperwork that I could have done myself.

Haven't heard from them since and it would be in their best interest if they just stayed away. Bad news!!

Just the fact that most of the people on that standard release form won't give their last name, just an initial. One of the people's name was just "Partner".

I've only got to the 4th page of their application and after reading some of the other reviews and looking at the names of the people on other pages giving great reviews of Myler, they match up! And the same giving bad reviews so they can post a good review under it!!! Something doesn't smell right!

We are unable to verify if this is a review from a client we've represented. We just became aware of this obscure website and the reviews that are here, so this is our first opportunity to address this. We had been unaware of any complaint like this, and since it has been 3 ½ years since this was posted, we strongly suspect this was just a person venting their frustration that Social Security isn't able to pay them more in monthly benefits. While we understand the frustration that can come from this, we can't change how much you worked in the past or how much you contributed to Social Security. What we can do is offer you excellent representation. Here, while the person may be upset, we did win the case and got them the benefits they were seeking. The lawyers that were assigned to my husband continued to change every three months and when we finally were able to go in front of a judge. He was not prepared and the judge was extremely angry with him.

He was wasting his time so, he took the judgement out on my husband. He didn't get disability but SSI. You can't live on that... My husband tired to get another attorney to go back to the judge but no other attorney will deal with the situation.

We are getting ready to sue Brad Myler and the attorney that didn't do his job.

We suppose this review was written by a former employee who is now one of our competitors. We disagree with the accusations he's making and are proud of our employees. We try very hard to help our clients in what is often a very thankless job and we have a proven record of being very good at what we do. We spend a significant part of each week training our employees on how to better serve our clients and how to work better as a team. We constantly look for ways to improve and the longer we do this, the better we get. If any of our employees have questions or concerns about any aspect of their job, Human Resources always has an open door and will help in any way they can. While from time to time we may have a dissatisfied employee, we're confident that most of our employees take pride in their job and find great satisfaction serving our amazing clients.

I actually was employed for Myler Disability and this company is definitely crooked. They didn't even start doing background checks on employees until May of this year (2013).

Very scary considering the employees have access to EVERY SINGLE client's personal information and file, including SSN, home address, full name, mother's maiden name, etc. Case managers get paid EXTRA MONEY just for doing other people's work for them. None of these employees are adequately trained or educated. The majority of them are only high school graduates that don't want to go to college and this joke a business will hire them to work full time, because that's about all the work they can get.

Each case manager has between 500-700 clients each so they are extremely impersonal and never get to know one single client. They are told to keep the conversation as short and to the point as possible. They don't care about helping clients, they care about getting their monthly bonus for hitting all their goals and getting all their work done quickly so they can do other people's for extra money.

Don't waste your time with this company they will spout off a list of what they are doing for you but in reality they maybe deal with your case once a month when they call to follow up on what they call "medical forms" that are required by your doctor. Such a disappointing experience working for a company that claims to advocate disability victims.

I worked there also, and this is exactly right. They are always hiring, and have a huge turnover rate, along with the pressure of getting your certain time, and the goals.

Not a very fun place to work, and more stressful. Basically the call center is the worst part, and you are stuck there for a long time.

2 years ago, I hired Myler Disability for my legal representation for SSI. They are a joke!!

Every month, the changed Case Managers. They wont return phone calls, & when you do reach a Case Manager, they sound like they are reading from a script. I suffer from ptsd, bipolar, depression, I also have hypertension, have had 3 tia's, and I have back & knee problems. The *** attorney that was assigned to my case didnt even contact me until the day before court.

All he told me was that it was dress casual & to be there 30 minutes early. He didnt go over any part of my case. He had not even looked at my case, until we got to court. The judge called us in 5 minutes after we got there, so my genius of an attorney didnt have time to look at it.

He even asked me what my name was. Needless to say, I got denied, so Myler Disability withdrew from my case. I had lost my job, due to my illness, had to stay with friends or family. I was even homeless at one point.

I just hired an attorney that I can call anytime & he will speak to me about my case. Oh & when Myler Disability withdrew, they had the nerve to send me a bill, which I will not pay one dime to them.

How do you have enough money to hire an attorney if you were homeless and lost your job? I hope that they take you to court and press charges against you for your refusing to do the adult thing and pay your bill.

You seem like a lazy person who is too lazy to get a job. You use your disability to not get a job.

You dont have to have money to hire any attorney for a disability case. I have been extremely ill for the past 3 years & have almost died a couple of times.

I am anything but lazy. I started working when I was 14 & have worked my entire life, so you need to ask a few questions about someone, before you start making comments like you did, when you do not have a clue what you are talking about.

I have very similar disabilities and issues. I used mylar, it took 2 years...not myler's fault, that is actually 6 months less than normal for this part of Florida, but they got me SSI and ssdi plus I only filled out forms once or twice.

If you didn't get what you thought was coming talk to your doctor. They have the controlling information the law office just puts it together.

Like did you have a letter from your doctor stating you could not return to the workforce? With your prognosis and diagnosis?

Yes I did have a letter...the attorney they sent did not even go over my case at all. I have since hired a real attorney that I can talk to him instead of 90 different case managers. I am glad that they got something for you, because they certainly did nothing for my case.

You will always be denied the first time. I got denied the first time and 2 years later I still have the same attorney, who knows both judges I have.

As far as time frame in the court, the first one like I said you will be denied and you spend very little time in the court room, the second one you have an hour in court and it is much more detailed and you speak. Don't give up.

I had the same problem with Brad Myler. They declined waiver fees.

I found a way around them. Contact your local Social Security Office (Disability dept) Tell them you are having problems with the waiver fees and Brad Myler. Ask them if you can file a "right to withdraw representation letter". I am not sure if all states allow this.

But if they do. Just ask them how to do this. Once you do this, verify it has been scanned into their system. You can get a new attorney this way.

But you have a short time to do this! You will also need to let your new attorney know and send them a copy of this letter. Also one needs to go to Brad Myler but I would wait till you get the rest of them sent and verified first. This only allows you to get a new attorney.

It is up to the hearing judge if how much he will allow in fees to be paid to Brad Myler. Hope this helps everyone who is having this issue. I was waiting for 2 years.

By the way, this is standard wait time in most cases, but Brad Myler drags it out so they get more money from all that back pay you are getting from waiting each month. Sad but true....

I as a totally disabled person, will gladly help, for no charge, any legitimate claiment. STOP the bottom feaders from further ruining peoples lives!!! They have no more interest in helping anyone than??? Really?

They do nothing but wait for their pre-approved 6000.00 dollars. While their clients become homeless and in financial ruin! Really. What a great America!

Pay the bottom feeders . What's up? I need the

6000.00 they stole for their services. Oh, that's right, NO services.

Please, pay me what I have paid into for 35 years. I need it!
