Myler Disability's reply to:

Myler Disability Legal Services Review from Pepper Mill Village, Maryland

There are two things that need to be addressed here. First, it appears that the records from every single medical source this client informed us about were obtained and submitted to Social Security. At the hearing, the judge had a number of questions for this client, which only she could answer. Some of these questions were in regards to apparent tax fraud in her earnings record. Again, only she could answer these questions. Our attorney did all he could to try to rehabilitate her testimony, but in these administrative disability hearings, if the judge has a question, the client needs to answer it. Second, this client says we are “charging” her for medical records. This is untrue, as we've attempted to explain to her. Eight of her medical providers charged a fee for the release of their medical records. We covered these expenses for the client and then asked to be reimbursed. This was clearly explained to her numerous times and was in the agreement she signed when she hired us. We're happy to discuss either of these issues further with this client. She can call us at 1-800-652-9626.

had a hearing yesterday and my representative didn't rebuttal anything that was stated on my behalf he did not speak one word to the judge I was appalled at the outcome of this hearing I truly believe because I was not represented properly that I won't win my case he did not have all my medical records available  to make a argument  after I made sure that your company had the information  for all my medical records absolutely free and then I found out that your company trick me into signing a paper stating that you guys charge money...the reason why I say tricked it's because I didn't understand that I needed to pay you guys I was told there would not be a charge from the beginning I was not cancelled or anything about any charges and for these reasons I believe there's a problem with your company and I am a client Wow...they charge you over $300 and they dont represent in court...you have to do it alone wgile they just sit there an listen not the kind of lawyer or representative expected

I read the list of reviews......I really don't know what these people are *** about, the service that I received from Myler Co. was exceptional!

All my questions were answered promptly, their service was explained in detail and was explained in simple terms,so as not to be confusing.

I have already told 3 friends about them without hesitation! Because in this *** world of corporate scams.......it's nice to to work with professionals who go above and beyond the call to take care of their customers. In the future my choice for service is definitely going to be Myler Disability, and for anyone else that is looking, you are the ones that I am going to use.

How long have you been with them? Did you win your case?

I have been with them for a year and a half and over the past month it seems as though they are starting to avoid me. I am starting to have second thoughts about this company.

Myler Disability in Utah is a filthy uncouth business that should be gone. The attorney that represents you in Utah in front of the Disability Judge is not licensed in Utah Merrick is his name, before the hearing you have a 15 minute phone call if your lucky At the hearing no prep time to go over anything and the attorney has several clients. Myler made a family member go thru *** because of their incompetence and greed. Your case is assigned to numerous people during this process with no notification. They are here to line their pockets with money, not to help anyone.

They recently started Myler Injury, Ryan Schriever is the attorney who comes from a big auto insurance firm. Supposed to be injury but Myler also has bestowed upon this man the right to file in Federal court for Disability clients. Again where is his experience with Disability, when he specializes in auto/injury cases!

Myler is to be avoided like the plague, someone needs to file a lawsuit on them for their INCOMPETANCE!!!!

Myler Disability - Anyone thinking of using Myler law firm is advised

We would encourage this person to contact our office to discuss this matter. While this review is anonymous and we're unable to verify its authenticity, we want to make it abundantly clear to everyone that Myler Disability does not receive a single dollar in legal fees that has not first been approved by the Social Security Administration. At no time have we ever been charged with embezzlement or fraud and such accusations are baseless. Here, it appears that we helped this person win benefits. When Social Security paid us our fee, this client complained and thought we shouldn't be paid for the work we did. If this is truly the case, we're happy to talk to him and discuss this matter in detail. We don't think we should get money for work we didn't do, but we also don't want to be taken advantage of by people bringing false, frivolous claims against us. We have successfully helped tens of thousands of clients obtain disability benefits and nearly all of these clients have been very happy with the job we've done. We find it unfortunate when an occasional client has bad things to say and sincerely would like to talk to this person to see if their concerns can be resolved. We can be reached at 1-800-652-9626.

"RED ALERT "10/23/2015

Anyone thinking of using Myler law firm be advised.

They have the rudest people working for them.

I got SSI and they got the 25% of my back pay.

I verified it with the social security administration that they had been paid in full.

They sent me a letter and are now saying I owe them $1499.00 more.

I had a supervisor from SSA call me today and told me this is illegal and they are moving forward in having this firm brought up on embezzlement and fraud charges.

This action will result in Myler not being able to file any Social Security Disability Applications ever again.

As a note as to what I think they are up to.

$1499.00 is just under the $1500.00 that can be filed in small claims court.

I live in Kentucky and they are in Utah and know there is no way I could afford to show up in court.

The judge would give them a judgment on that alone and I would be responsible for that $1499.00 and the court cost.

If you or anyone you know is being represented by Myler please fire them ASAP and find a good honest law firm.

COPIED FROM MYLER WEBSITE

We charge nothing up front. Our fees are contingent upon your winning, and we collect 25% of only your back benefits. Our fees must be approved by the Social Security Administration

The client only pays if approved for benefits ("contingency fee").25% of the back pay benefits, up to a maximum of $6,000.

Out-of-pocket expenses such as medical record copy fees, transportation, etc.

Are you sure the additional bill wasn't for the out of pocket expenses? They have my case now and when I tried to bail out on them they told me I would have to pay them all of the out of pocket expenses first, otherwise going to another lawyer would be a violation of my contract.

So now I am stuck and if they are sued and such down I am really in trouble!

@PissedConsumer1060792

people must understand there are a lot of hoops they jump through. I was really frustrated in the beginning and also wanted to give up.

Well the attorney and I saw the ADJ on Oct 2nd and got my first deposit to my account yesterday 11/9/2015.

It takes two to three years and I'm pleased, the only other option is to pay up front for all expenses and if you do not qualify there is no refund.

Myler Disability is by far the worst disability group our office has to deal with. They just push through as many claims as possible hoping one out of a hundred will strike gold.

They don't cares about your disability. They don't even care if you're even disabled. All they do is fax paperwork nonstop. The only time we hear from Myler's staff of non-attorneys is when they want to get paid.

You could choose anyone and receive better representation. You could file the claim yourself, save thousands, and get better results.

The reason it takes so long to get a determination is groups like Myler Disability jamming up the system. Don't waste your time or our time with these frauds.

I disagree open your eyes and ears. Our system requires mounds of paper work.

They were there for me and I am very pleased.

Yes you may be frustrated as I was but hang in if you are truly disabled it will be ok. Sorry for the initial kick in the throat, just wanted your attention.

Myler dissability is being scrutinized as we speak! So beware of getting involved with them!

There have been too many complaints in regards to this company to overlook! They have misrepresented the whole legal community as to how they do business, especially the team members that try to do the actual cases w/ no legal guidance Just beware that this firm is being very clearly Scrutinized at this moment

Myler Disability - Review in Lawyers category from Wichita, Kansas

This client was very verbally abusive of our staff and would call multiple times over the course of a few minutes, then never answer his phone when we would return his call. From what I can tell, after he was approved for benefits we was upset that Social Security paid us for the services we rendered on the claim. Each time we have attempted to talk to him about this, he has either not answered or has made very abusive comments to our staff. I am personally willing to talk to him, but he needs to answer our calls first or call us again at 1-800-652-9626.

At Myler Disability we aren't interested in calling people who don't qualify for disability benefits. If a potential client reaches out to us and we find out that they do not qualify for benefits, we don't call them again. If this person has received multiple calls from Myler Disability, it's because he/she keeps entering his/her information on our website, requesting to be called. If this review is from an actual person who has dealt with our office, please give us a call at 1-800-652-9626 so that we can discuss this further and make sure your number isn't called again by our office.

We have successfully represented tens of thousands of clients over the years and the overwhelming majority of them have been very satisfied with the services we offer. From a statistical standpoint, much less than ½ of 1% of our clients ever write a negative review about us. While we are always looking for ways to improve, we're pretty proud of our customer service record. We also take pride in our A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. Myler Disability's reply to:

Myler Disability Legal Services Review from Fort Worth, Texas

We represent many clients and nearly all of the time our clients are extremely satisfied with the job we do. In fact, less than ½ of 1% of our clients ever complain about the services we offer. Here, we tried very hard to work with this client, but she was never happy with the answers we would give her and became increasingly verbally abusive with our staff. When she terminated our representation, her case was pending at Social Security's reconsideration stage. At that point in the process, we provide Social Security with the names of our clients medical providers. If we do obtain any medical records directly from the client or the medical provider, we have them submitted. However, we do not begin verifying whether Social Security obtained each page of medical records until they make the exhibit file available to us, which happens once we file a Request for Hearing with an administrative law judge. This client discharged us before we could begin this process. In regards to her claim that we are not attorneys, we'd like to point out that this is incorrect. While we do have a large staff that helps our clients with development of the cases, the work is overseen by attorneys. Once a hearing is scheduled, it is a licensed attorney that appears with our client at the hearing and all aspects of the administrative process are overseen by attorneys.
