I left a message to inform my case manager of a new medication and they had my doctors info incorrect. When i tried to give her the address she would not take it the way i gavevit to her because she said she could not put it into her computer that way. I tried to give her the phone number so she could see for herself what the address is and she told me that was my job. I tried to lodge a complaint and keep getting the run around and being directed back to the same person that im trying to lodge the complaint about. I was not obscene or confontational, but i was adament to try to speak with a person higher up and itsvas if tbey dont exist. I asked to leave a message for Brad Myler and i was told there was no way to do that. In my opinion, these people seem shady and i am very nervous about having them handle my case. If they are worklng for people who are filing for disability it is because tbese people are disabled and maybe they are unable to gather all the info themseves. Thats why they hired Myler disability. If its my job to fix the incorrect info that they have and i have no idea how they came up with that info, what exactly are they doind?

We're sad to see that this former client is so upset. Because he left an anonymous review, we're unable to determine who he is. We'd be very interested in talking with him, however, and helping resolve any concerns he has. We do expect that our clients go to their doctors and complete the paperwork we send. We submit this information to Social Security and they, in turn, determine if it is sufficient to support the allegations the client is making regarding his/her inability to work. We help our clients during this process, but ultimately it's the responsibility of each client to make sure he/she goes to their doctors appointments and therapy sessions. Not surprisingly, the strength of the medical records is what determines the outcome of each case. If we withdrew from this claim, it was either because the medical records did not match the level of impairment the client was alleging or the client was being threatening and abusive towards our staff. That being said, he's welcome to give us a call back at 1-800-652-9626 to discuss these matters further. We're only interested in getting favorable results for our clients and we're pretty good at what we do! In fact, we've helped tens of thousands of our clients receive disability benefits and we continue to strive to be the best in our industry. Give us a call today to see if we can help you.

Because the person who left this review did so anonymously, we're unable to verify if this is from an actual client. If this is, we would appreciate very much the opportunity to discuss the specifics of this case with him/her. If we withdrew from the claim, it was because we believed that the medical records (or lack thereof) did not support the limitations the client was alleging or because the client was being abusive or threatening to our staff. We only get paid if our clients are approved for benefits, and if we're no longer representing this person, we have not and will not be paid a single penny for the help we provided. I'm absolutely certain that I could answer this person's questions and resolve any concerns if he'd just give us a call. We can be reached at 1-800-652-9626.

Myler Disability Social Security Disability Legal Service Review from Houston, Texas

This review was left anonymously, so we are unable to verify if it is from an actual client. We would be very interested in discussing these issues with her. She can reach us at 1-800-652-9626. If she's upset because she had to go to doctors appointments, we understand her frustration but strongly encourage her to keep following up with treatment as her doctors recommend. We expect our clients to go to their doctors appointments because it is only with medical records that we're able to prove that someone is disabled. If we withdrew from this person's case because it was “insurance no cash” (I assume she's saying it's an MQGE or MQFE claim, which means because she was a federal employee and never paid FICA taxes, she's only eligible for Medicare and not for Social Security cash benefits), we apologize. However, we assume that when clients hire us they are giving us correct information about their work history. When we find out that someone is not eligible for benefits due to their work history, we withdraw from the case. We'd love to catch these things earlier, but sometimes our clients don't tell us the “whole truth.” Regarding the complaints that we never return phone calls, this is untrue. We answer most calls as they come in. If you have to leave a message, we return the call within 24 business hours. However, similar to an anonymous online review, we can only respond to messages if the caller identifies him/herself and leaves a callback number. Leaving messages (on the phone or online) that simply call names and insult does not provide me or my staff with sufficient information to help resolve the concern.

Been doing all the work myself spending thousands on Doctor bills. Today I went to the Doctor and had the physical assessment done.

WhenI got back home I noticed a phone message. I listened it was Myler telling me they are letting me go because all my claim is insurance no cash which is nil because they had both husbands sa# and I was married to both over 13 years and also they set me up with a credit card at a bank for the deposits from disability. These freaks never return a call.

They suck and I hope karma gets every last one of them. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!!!

ssd/ssi | Myler Disability review from Atlanta, Georgia

This review was left anonymously, so we are unable to verify its authenticity. It appears that this person's claim was approved and they're upset that the SSI benefits were terminated once the SSDI benefits took effect. This is normal, as Social Security isn't going to allow you to draw a check for both SSI and SSDI at the same time. It also appears that this client is upset that the administrative law judge ordered a consultative examination after the hearing. These do delay the processing time of the claim, but here it was obviously helpful because it lead to the case being approved. If this client would like his/her questions answered or concerns addressed, we would love to help out. Give us a call at 1-800-652-9626.

While I'm unable to verify if this comment was made by a current or former client, I can be sympathetic of his frustrations. It appears he has been denied benefits, even though he feels he cannot work because of his bipolar disorder. It's easy to see that Social Security isn't a perfect program and sometimes people who should qualify for benefits are turned down. Other times, a person's medical records may not quite match up with how their day to day symptoms are truly impacting them, making it difficult for Social Security to justify approving the case. We can't guarantee that every case can be won....no one can. But if there is a valid legal argument to be made on your case, you can bet we're going to be there, right by your side, arguing with Social Security on why you should be approved for benefits.

Myler Disability Customer Care Review from New York, New York

We are unable to verify the authenticity of this review, but it does appear to be a client that we were able to help obtain benefits. We would encourage him to give us a call at 1-800-652-9626 to discuss these issues in detail. We're happy to help him out with what's going on, but he needs to contact us so we know who he is! In regards to the issues he addresses, we understand his frustration. However, we did not “neglect” to file anything with Social Security. Rather, Social Security inadvertently released the entirety of the client's past-due benefits to a government entity that had loaned money to the client. Social Security sometimes makes this mistake (about 2% of the time in our experience). Once they have released the money and realize they shouldn't have, they usually inform the client that the attorney still needs to be paid (which it appears they did here). We're always very happy to set up payment plans to help our clients out, as we know that paying the full amount all at once is often impossible. Here, my guess is that this client never called to discuss this with us. Rather, he calls us “greedy” because Social Security has informed him that he still owes us money (which, by the way, in a case like this the fee we receive rarely covers the expenses of helping the client; most of these SSI claims require quite a bit of pro bono work on our part). We would encourage him to give us a call at 1-800-652-9626. We'll figure out something that works for him and helps us cover some of our expenses.

The fee agreement is for myler disability to receive a percentage of my "back payments" if we won case. We won and my back payments were around 4,500.

of which myler disability share was 1,500.However since someone in their office was incompetant and forgot to file with social security for their fee...the social security administration confiscated/used my ENTIRE back payments to pay HRA, repay HRA monies that it gave to me in supportive services,as is their policy. When I contacted SSA about lawyers fee, they said the normal proceedure for packpayments is: to pay attorneys, then HRA,then whoever else is owed the client gets what remains. However since the lawyers neglected to file with SSA for payment they paid the entire backpayments to HRA. The rub is that because someone at myler messed up, they want to push up on my monthly stipend of 733.00 .

first of all i rent a room in a no cooking buiding for 405.00 ,my carefare expenses are 100.00, my phone & laundry are 100.00, and I got around 100 left to live on for the month; eating out, toiletries, any clothes i buy, etc.I mean I cannot live on 733.00 a month, all i think about all the time is money, *** i cant even afford to buy a book, mag,or paper.ive been using same paper cup to make coffee in cause i cant afford to the $2.00 to buy a real cup.i cut back on visits to my physical therapist cause thats 5.50 per visit. Life sucks and so do greedy lawyers

Totally inept business practices, waited 2+weeks for packet | Myler Disability review from Medford, Oregon

This person apparently never became a client of Myler Disability. Because the review is anonymous, we're unable to verify what exactly happened, although we're pretty certain that we can piece together how things transpired based on our company policies and procedures. When a potential client calls in for a consultation, we go through a thorough screening to try and determine the merits of any potential claim with Social Security. If they pass our screening, we send them a “new client” package. This can take take anywhere from several days to two weeks to be received, based on where the person lives in the United States and the current processing times by the U.S. Postal Service. We do call and follow up with prospective clients, but it's highly unlikely that we called 12 times in a 2 week period. On average, we only call 3 times. If more calls than this were being received, it's extremely likely that these people contacted another disability company and were receiving calls from them as well. We simply don't have the time or the man power to make 12 calls to every potential client. Lastly, if calls were received at 7:00 am, we apologize. This is outside of our business hours, so we find it unlikely that these came from our office. If, somehow, they did, we offer a sincere apology. We wish this person the best going forward and if we can help with a future disability claim, we can be reached at 1-800-652-9626.

In 16 days time, we received a total of 12 phone calls from them asking us to fill out and send back their info packet- in which we didn't receive until 2 weeks later. Almost every time the "advocate" called, she always called around 7 am- after she was specifically asked to contact us in the afternoon.

(I guess she feels that since we're not working, we'll answer the phone at any old time!) Even after we cancelled their service, she still called with the message of how she can't help me until she receives the packet back! When I asked them to stop calling, they continued calling anyway!

When answering her email, I forwarded a letter of complaint back, only to receive it back from the server as blocked...! I found its better to contact your local SSDI/SSI office and apply over the phone.

To the contrary. On this claim, we obtained hundreds of pages of medical evidence and were preparing to take his case to a hearing before an Administrative Law Judge. Unfortunately, this client disappeared. His phone numbers stopped working and he stopped replying to letters and email. Even the number he provided on this online comment is not in service. We were forced to withdraw for loss of contact. It's unfortunate when we are forced to withdraw for loss of contact, but it's a reality we face when our clients do not provide us with updated contact information. As of today, all of the contact information this former client has provided us with continues to not be in service. We would encourage him to call us at 1-800-652-9626.
