Myler Disability's reply to:

Dont prey on the sick

We're not attempting to prey on the sick. Rather, we're trying to help disabled individuals who can no longer work obtain benefits through Social Security. We'd be more than happy to discuss this matter with this person or his/her new attorney. We don't send threatening letters and we don't get paid unless your claim is approved. Even then, every single dollar we get paid must be approved beforehand by Social Security. We're here to help our clients during a difficult time in their lives and if question or concerns come up along the way, we'd love the opportunity to address these. Making our clients happy is how we've stayed in business so many years and how we'll continue to stay in business for years to come. Give us a call at 1-800-652-9626.

I've been dealing with MD for almost 3 years But I expected it to take this long. All these reviews on here that say stuff about them evidently they had nothing wrong with them and trying scam to get a free ride.

I have had ever question answered and every phone call answered since I have been with them. I have a hearing coming up in about 3 months. If you all read about S.S and the appeals and read about how long it takes in your state you wouldn't be bashing them.

Grow up quit bad mouthing them and wait your 2 to 3 years cause thats how long some cases take. It will be worth it in the end after you get a bunch of your medical records built up.

I have had no issues either.. My case started in October 2013 and my hearing was on July 9th 2015 and I won my case.. My lawyer was GREAT and they did an awesome job keeping on top of my medical records...

i havent had any issues with them either. my spine is in extremely bad shape.

and when i read off my mri report to the secretary named sarah. she was insistent to get my case dealt with and very thorough about everything. i want them to ask me the questions the others seemed to have issues with . if they didnt ask me those questions i wouldnt have stayed.

they are supposed to by law ask your age. its called DOB. we all have to give it to most the system information parties dealing with situation that are as extreme as disability claims. what did those ppl want.

to be anon? haha. i agree with you that maybe they were scamming the system and didnt wanna work with anyone. they just wanted a check cut the day they spoke to them.

thats not gonna happen. it takes time to get these things dealt with, squared out. i never understood why ppl are so negative about the time it takes.

i would rather them take this time, be complete with everything and get my case correct. than be half ***.

We just became aware of this review and we wish we could have addressed these concerns much earlier. If you have questions about your case, we'd encourage you to call so that we can help you through this difficult process. Here, we're unable to verify the authenticity of this anonymous review, but we find it odd that we would be blamed for the frustration this person has with his/her doctor. Myler Disability is a scam...I was cheated out of 9 months of my disability. I had 2 open heart surgeries in 3 days, had cataracts and could not drive.

My chest was sewn together with steel wire & I was a caregiver. My *** dr said I could go back to work after 90 days. What a joke. How could I lift 200 lb people with my chest sawed in half.

Myler did NOTHING to help me! They never contacted my eye dr or the dr that performed my back surgery. I would not recommend them to the devil! They ripped me off so I am appealing ssi's decision.

They are fraudulent & need to pay for it. I also did all the work & it took a yr to get anything.

They are a joke. If there is an attorney that could help me I would appreciate it.

Wait, wait, wait. Let me get this right.

Your doctor returned you to work 90 days after your surgeries and you're blaming Myler for this? Really?

Sorry, but I'm not seeing the logic in this. If the doctor says you are capable of working, what do you think's going to happen?

He did and so did Brad Myler. So do I have recourse on the Dr?

The Dr never followed up on my back surgery nor my cataracts. It was up to Myler to make sure he contacted every Dr I had & that did not happen.

We would love the opportunity to talk to this person to see why they feel we are rude and unprofessional. We try very hard to offer outstanding customer service and nearly all of our clients feel that we do. In addition, we're quite successful at what we do and have helped tens of thousands of people obtain disability benefits. If you have concerns about your case, call us at 1-800-652-9626.

We're happy to share that we were able to win this client's case and get him benefits! In April 2015 we had a few problems contacting him because he got a new phone number. However, once we were able to get his new number, we were able to maintain contact with him and in 2016 we were able to get his claim approved after a hearing with an administrative law judge. Helping clients receive the benefits they deserve is what we take great pride in!

Myler Disability - Review in Lawyers category from Richmond, Virginia

It doesn't appear that this online comment is from an actual client of Myler Disability. The complaint, though, is one that should be address because of how long it can take for a disability claim to be processed by the Social Security Administration. Processing times have nothing to do with the attorney you hire, but rather with the backlog that SSA is facing in whichever part of the country you live in. If this online comment is from an actual client, it appears he/she is from the Richmond, VA area. Processing times there take much longer than 1 year from the time a person applies until a hearing is held before an administrative law judge. At Myler Disability, our goal is to be by your side during this process and help you further develop your case so that once it is finally scheduled, you'll have a greater chance of winning. If you're a client of ours, please give us a call and we can give you the current wait times for your local Social Security hearings office (ODAR) and share with you ways to make your case stronger while you're waiting. Myler Disability - Ssdi Review from Santee, California

We'd like very much for this person to give us a call so that we can address her concerns. Because the review is anonymous, we're unable to verify its authenticity. It does appear, though, that we were able to help this person obtain SSI benefits. For her to have also obtained SSDI benefits, she would have needed to prove disability further back in time, prior to what is called her “date last insured.” Again, because this is an anonymous review, I can't verify what this date is on her claim, nor the strength of her medical records prior to that date. We'd love to help this client with her concerns, but she needs to call us to discuss these things. Posting anonymous, angry, untrue statements on an obscure website isn't an effective way to communicate with your attorney. Give us a call at 1-800-652-9626.

I hired Mylers disability to fight for ssdi and SSI. They expected me to do all there work for them they never contacted my doctors for medical records or did any foot work.

The first lawyer they gave me Jason I had only met him one time the day of court. Spoke to him a few days prior to court. Honestly I don't even know what we spoke about. I told them I was diagnosed with PTSD and they never followed up on it nor did it come out in court.

He told me we was fighting for my ssdi never did he say we lost. After court he said he was 98 % sure we won and 4 months later I get a letter stating I was denied. Then I was told we were going back into court to appeal it and it took 1year before I spoke to my lawyer. And guess what it was a different lawyer.

Now we r starting all over she knew nothing about my case. I spoke to her maybe 2 times and the day of court I spoke to her for five minutes before we went into court. When we went in she was unprepared and the judge was mad and taking it out on me. To get to the end they never said I lost my ssdi nor did she bring it up.

It wasn't them that won my SSI it was the SSI mental doctor. But that's not what I wanted I wanted my ssdi. When I questioned my lawyer she said well at least u still have your husbands income. I can't get income from SSI because my husband makes to much money.

That's why she said that. They have been very inconsiderate with me and no compassion. Yes I have been upset with them and said some things but wouldn't u? I get no compassion from them at all.

I told them I wanted to go back to court but they have been ignoring my calls. Now there saying my lawyer told me on a certain date that I lost my ssdi and that is such a lye. I am reporting them to the state Barr association. I am not letting them get away with this.

They r not lawyers and they don't care about there clients.

They r lying to us when they say they care about u and winning your ssdi. This post they have up is fake please be careful.

Myler Disability - Disability Claim Review from Santee, California

We'd encourage this person to give us a call so that we can discuss her concerns in detail. This is an anonymous review, so its authenticity cannot be verified. It appears, though, that we were able to help get this person approved for SSI benefits. It's likely she didn't qualify for SSDI benefits because she had not worked enough in the past to be “insured” for that type of claim. (Again, because it's an anonymous review, we can't verify any of the details). Also, if she wasn't given anything in past-due benefits due to her husband's income, Myler Disability wasn't paid, either. There's a good chance that there's another side to this story that includes a client not disclosing all of the necessary financial information to our office or to Social Security. We'd love to discuss this further and find out what can be done. Give us a call at 1-800-652-9626.

I hired myler disability to take. On my case.

They totally ruined everything for me. I lost my ssdi and had no clue. Then they tell me my lawyer told me which is a lye. I ended up getting SSI house hold income which means my husband makes ton much money so I receive no monthly income.

Then all my back pay all the way back to 2011 gone. I only get 200.00 dollars. I was not done rite at all. .

I only spoke to my lawyer once before going into court and the day of court I was brought into a little room for about five minutes and nothing explained to me. Once in the court room I feel I was defending myself. The judge was so rude to me and I didn't understand what was going on. I was never told I lost my ssdi .i was not represented rite and I really need help fighting this case.

Please if there is a lawyer willing to fight for me and help me I would really appreciate it. I am lost and very confused. And not getting any rite answer except at this point we can't help u.

U guys never helped me u messed everything up. Please tell me how u except me to be happy with this

We're sorry to hear that this person was not able to receive benefits from Social Security. Unfortunately, this review was anonymous, so not are we only unable to verify its authenticity, we're also unable to call the person to help explain things and see if there's anything else that can be done. It each of these cases, there's a winner and a loser. We can't guarantee that you'll win your case, but we'll do all we can to try and help you get a favorable outcome. We've been doing this for many years and have successfully helped tens of thousands of clients, so we're definitely not rookies. Also, we only get paid if your case is approved, so we have no incentive to do anything other than represent you as best as possible. Again, though, some cases won't be approved and when this happens, it is often because the medical records from your doctor were not supportive. We're glad that your claim was approved! Please be aware that the fee which Myler Disability charges has been approved by Social Security. It is for 25% of the past due benefits, with a maximum of $6,000 (this maximum amount is established by Congress and every decade or so gets raised a little bit). On your claim, we were paid $133.99. While we're sure you would have liked to get more money from Social Security in past-due benefits, you were paid the maximum they were allowed to give you. And, despite what you may think, we were only paid a very small fee for the services we rendered. If you have more questions regarding your claim and the back pay you feel you should have gotten, you may contact us at 1-800-652-9626.

My brother Jerry also won his case in only 5-6 months and Was supposed to get a 6 thousand dollar back and only received 4000. 10% my ***. 10% of the back pay was all they were suppose to take.

If your household assets and income are too high, we can't help you with an SSI claim. We aren't trying to be rude, but rather are just attempting to explain to you what the law in on SSI claims. As far as calling you multiple times, chances are the calls were from another disability company. Many clients enter their info on multiple websites. We can't control who else calls you. We can assure you, though, once we have talked to you and determine we can't help you with a claim, we'll never call you again.

Felt like I was talking to Social security. They don't want to help you. Obviously they don't want to get paid either. Don't even know why they have a phone number. After denying me and being rude I got two more call backs from two different people.

They're too lazy to let each other know who they already talked to, and are not helpful what so ever.

Very cold and rude during consultation. If they call me one more time I'm gonna lose my *** and go off on the phone.
