We're glad we were able to help this person obtain disability benefits. It's unfortunate that he's unhappy with the results, after the time we put into helping him and making sure he got the maximum benefits available. We do expect our clients to take a pro-active role in helping prepare their cases, but here we did have to pay an invoice to the client's doctor to obtain his medical records. We helped the client with this expense due to the financial hardship he was under at the time and later asked that he repay us. If he'd like to discuss this further, he's welcome to call us. We're very flexible in coming up with payment plans that work, as we understand the difficulty our clients are facing. In regards to his dislike of our staff asking him to provide information, there's not much we can do about this. We need regular updates from our client and the only way to find out this information is to ask. No need to get upset when we're just trying to keep your case up to date! Finally, I'm surprised that this client suggests at the end of his review that his case was only approved because of some shady, back-room deal the judge and attorney worked out. In our experience, this isn't how things work. Our belief is that benefits were approved here because the judge was convinced the client would be unable to sustain work on a full-time basis. The attorney that handled this is one of our best and always does a very professional job when in court.

I'd look for a different disability firm to handle your cases. They did win my case,took over a year.

Did most of the leg work myself with med recs and so fourth but still billed me 250 for the same *** I sent in to them. Ain't paid it yet cause I havent got any back pay yet but they were paid their 6000.oo for doing little to nothing. Never kept the same case worker. Constently had to go over the same *** with each new one.

Would not recommend mylar to anyone.

The lawyer Cody did put effort into helping win it. Friends with the judge cause the way it went at the hearing had favors written on the walls so to speak.

One of the hardest things an attorney has to do is give legal advice to a client that does not want to listen to the advice. As hard or uncomfortable as this may be at times, it does not lessen the attorney's duty to be a counselor of the law and to properly inform the client of what the law is and what the consequences of his or her actions may be if they disobey the law. When a client is attempting to commit perjury, a good attorney should always counsel the client to reconsider and to focus on telling the truth, no matter what the consequences of that may be. It is unfortunate that this former client's wife is so upset with us, but be assured that there is a very different side to this story. However, this is not the proper forum to discuss what actually happened. Myler Disability was suppose to help my husband. Instead it took the case four years to go in front of a judge.The date came we meet the lawyer and she had the biggest attitude and rude!You should have heard the things she was saying to my husband. So we are no longer using myler!When I called main office to tell my husbands case worker what had happen she didn't want to hear it and said she could not discuss the case which is a lie because we are married and he signed papers for them to talk to me.Very disappointed and will never use them again or recommend them to any one!!

I to am bipolar 1 and I suffer from P.T.S.D. and I feel bad for the team at Myler.

Michael Romero and Shana have been great. I just got my 1st denial on Friday and Monday I had my appeal paperwork in my box.

The entire team have been great with me. Shana has had to calm me down multiple times over the phone.

Michael has been there for me from day 1. I have been told that if I get denied again then we will be going to court.

People doesn't realize that mental issues are not always visible. I suffer from 4 mental illnesses I have my good days (rare) and my bad day's (all the time).

They keep calling me and I keep telling them they are calling the wrong number. Don't know them, and don't need the phone calls. How do you get these calls to stop???

Why do you continue calling even when I tell you that it's a wrong number and no one by that name is there. If I don't answer then you keep leaving messages. Quit calling me PLEASE.

When someone tells you it's a wrong number and/or doesn't return your calls quit calling and or leaving messages. You are wasting my time and my phone minutes and when you call during work hours, you are causing me problems at work so if no one answers or returns a message or states you are calling a wrong number PLEASE QUIT CALLING OR I'LL SUBMIT YOU FOR HARASSEMENT CALLS!

I've been dealing with myler disability for 2 years until now the i went to court and im not going to lie this firm is great it took a while for my court hearing but over all my experience has been awesome as long as you get the records they ask for they'll do the rest and make sure they'll fight for you i dont know about some of yall and why you had problems but these folks were great to me i won my case in 30 minutes and sorry my memory is bad but to my lawyer thank you alot from the florida office

It is impossible to file a disability claim with Myler Disability, or anyone else for that matter, without first signing a significant amount of paperwork, some of which includes an appointment of representative, a fee agreement, and a Social Security Disability application. If you call us for a consultation, and if you ask that we help you, we will send you our “new client” paperwork in the mail. After you receive this, we ask that you review each page, then sigh the appropriate lines, and return it to our office. If you have questions at any time, you can call us and we'll help make sense of everything! Here, the person that wrote this review is confused with what happened on the call. We did NOT file a disability claim for her, but rather sent her our new client package, which she was to review and then make a decision on how she wanted to proceed. Return, Exchange or Cancellation Policy

Called them for a consult, she took all info, and said claim would be filed the same day. We have ongoing person injury case and told her no, I needed to make sure everything was ok with attorney on other end.

Told her to cancel it, was only calling to get consult and information. Later that day got a voice mail from her saying it was filed. Called and she told me she couldnt cancel it, told her we did not give her permission to file it. She said when we got paperwork in the mail just disregard it.

They should not file anything without permission, period.

Especially when the last thing I told her was to cancel it. Period.
